About The Brand

Savage CBD is a well-known company in the CBD space, having been established in 2015 according to the CEO’s, Chris Wheeler’s, LinkedIn Page. Based in California, one of the brand’s primary objectives is to be as transparent with consumers as possible, with a goal of helping everyone achieve freedom and happiness from using CBD and experiencing its profound benefits.

CBD Quality

With transparency being the operative word behind Savage’s ideology, they do well by discussing the following aspects that help support high quality CBD Products:

  • CO2 extraction – considered the industry leading standard for extracting CBD oils from hemp, Savage CBD uses this method which is associated with a greater margin of safety as no toxic solvents are used in the process.
  • Third party lab tested products – Savage CBD thoroughly tests their extracts both in-house and by sending to an independent laboratory for confirmation. This removes any potential manufacture bias and proves to consumers that you are getting stated label claims.
  • Full spectrum products – while it doesn’t appear that every single one of their product offerings is full spectrum, much of their catalog is full spectrum, which is great when it comes to overall potency. Full spectrum products enable the user to experience the entourage effect, which is a synergistic boost of the cannabinoids and associated compounds therapeutic potency.
  • USA sourced hemp – Savage CBD is very transparent about where their hemp is sourced from, disclosing that it is primarily from Wisconsin, Oregon, Colorado and occasionally from Europe based on if it meets regulations.

Products

Savage CBD has a decent sized product catalog catering to the needs of most consumers that visit their website. Their current range includes:

CBD Tinctures

The most popular CBD based supplement, CBD tinctures are a must have for companies that are serious about meeting consumers’ needs. Savage CBD has available full spectrum CBD oil tinctures in quite impressive concentrations, starting from 1000 mg and going up to 2000 mg.

Flavors look great as well, with lemon lime, pink grapefruit, cucumber, or peach and pear available for your consumption. These are uncommon flavors and go nicely if you are tired of same old peppermint.

Prices start at $99.99 and go up to $149.99 for the highest concentration variety.

Recommended for: mild to moderate pain, anxiety, occasional insomnia, and general well-being.

CBD Softgels

If you find that you cannot stomach the taste of CBD oil, then you may prefer an easy to swallow soft gel. Savage CBD has made available just that, with each individual soft gel delivering a massive 25 mg CBD.

Available in 8 or 30 count bottles, these full-spectrum CBD capsules costs either $39.99 or $90.99.

CBD Lotion

Savage CBD lotion is just what you need to nourish the health of your skin, or for rapid and localized pain relief when you need it most. Possessing a refreshing citrus lavender scent, each 60 ML bottle of the CBD lotion supplies a total of 300 mg CBD.

A bottle of the lotion retails for $44.99 on their website.

Recommended for: managing soreness or localized pain, improving the moisture content of skin, and for helping to energize or calm you since it contains both citrus and lavender/chamomile.

Full-Spectrum CBD Aloe Vera

A unique product offered by Savage CBD, their full-spectrum CBD aloe vera is designed for use after excessive sun exposure such as following a fun day at the beach. By applying after sun exposure, it effectively helps to reduce oxidation and inflammation you may experience, nourishing the skin with richly hydrating aloe vera and CBD.

A bottle of their CBD aloe vera lotion retails for $44.99.

CBD Sunscreen

Another unique product offering by Savage CBD, their CBD sunscreen is aimed at supporting the health of your skin by reducing the impact of UV rays on this important organ.

With SPF 30 infused alongside the beneficial effects of CBD, spending time in the sun doing what you love does not have to make you feel as guilty anymore.

A bottle of the full-spectrum CBD sunscreen retails for $44.99.

Vape Ejuices

If you prefer to get your CBD via vaping, you are bound to love Savage CBD Vaping Ejuices. Classified into Savage and Ripe Vaping lines, the major difference between them is the flavor.

Available in 30 ML bottles that deliver a total of 250 mg, 500 mg or 1000 mg CBD, and with flavors such as driven, serene, tranquil and Fiji melons, kiwi Dragon and more to choose from, as they rightfully state on their website – the hardest part will be choosing which flavor to start with first.

Depending on which concentration you choose, a bottle of the Vaping Ejuice retails for $32.99, $49.99 or $59.99 respectively.

Recommended for: an economical way of refilling your vape cartridges with rapid acting CBD that works via the inhalation route.

Full-Spectrum Vape Cartridges

If you’d rather pick up a prefilled vape cartridge ready for use with any standard pen battery, then this may be the most convenient option for you.

Each prefilled cartridge supplies a total of 500 mg CBD, and is available in flavors such as pineapple blast and strawberry citrus – in full-spectrum and isolate varieties.

Isolates varieties are available in 250 mg concentration that each retail for $26.99, while the full-spectrum vape cartridges supply a total of 500 mg CBD and costs $46.99.

Disposable CBD Vape Pens

If you are going to be away from a rechargeable battery, or need to travel but also need to get your CBD in, these convenient disposable CBD vape pens can help meet your needs. Each supplies a total of 200 mg CBD, but these disposable pens do not need to be used all at once –only until they are empty do they need to be tossed.

The disposable CBD vape pens are currently available in three flavors namely, citrus, strawberry melon, and berry mint. They each costs $32.

CBD Pet Spray

The use of CBD for pets is a rapidly growing market since many mammals also possess an endocannabinoid system and can benefit from the use of CBD in ways very similar to humans.

CBD pet sprays make it easy to administer full-spectrum CBD to your pet’s food or beverage. A 60 ML bottle delivers 500 mg total CBD and retails for $44.99.

Recommended for: managing pain in aging pets, reducing separation anxiety, treating occasionally insomnia or for general health and well-being.

Apparel

Although not their primary line of business, Savage CBD offers cool printed apparel for true enthusiasts of the brand. They currently have available long sleeve crewnecks, T-shirts, beanies and snapback caps for you to choose from.

Each piece of apparel is emblazoned with their logo. Offerings start at $$15.99 and range up to $27.99 depending on what you choose

My Recommendation

Savage CBD has done well in my opinion, especially when it comes to overall transparency. They readily disclose much of what consumers often wonder about when dealing with a company in the CBD space.

I also love the unique offerings they have, but with that said, the product range can still be considered somewhat limited based on the number of years they have been in business. Prices are extremely good on some items, but not that much on others. Overall though, they are a solid company that gets my thumbs up.
