The growth of the CBD oil industry is currently in a state of explosion. With the FDA recently approving the first CBD pharmaceutical, Epidiolex, to treat certain kinds of epilepsy, it seems a sure bet that the industry of CBD oil supplements will continue to expand.
Whenever demand outpaces supply in a new industry, conditions are ripe for scams. It is critical that you do your research before spending your money on CBD products that may or may not be quality supplements.
This review looks at just one company, HighTechCBD. I don’t give this company a very high rating based on considerations I will explain in detail below.

Taken as a whole, this is not a CBD product I would strongly recommend. There is not much information available on the company, and there are some significant red flags to warrant consumer concerns about the quality of the product they are getting.

The only product I could find made by HighTechCBD is their gummies, sold in a 300mg bottle, 10mg per gummy.
The company makes a lot of claims about the potential health benefits of their product, including for relief from low energy, hypertension, chronic pain, nausea, depression, anxiety, muscles support, upset stomachs, and inflammation.

Domestic Sourcing and Manufacturing
The manufacturer claims the product is grown and manufactured in the U.S. This is normally a great sign of quality. However, do be aware that they also list only a physical address in Ireland on their contact page…leading me to have some questions about the validity of this claim.
Organic Hemp
The manufacturer claims their product is sourced from organically grown hemp, but no information on their supplier is available on their website.

Lack of Transparency About the Company
There is no “About Us” section on the website so there is very little information to go on.
Lack of Transparency About Pricing
It looks like that the only way to get to a purchasing gateway for this product is to first share information including your name, address and phone number to even get to a shop page. This information has to be submitted before you can even see the pricing for this product.
Lack of Transparency About Third Party Testing
The website says they do third party testing of their product, however, recent reports are no where to be found on the website, nor do they even name the lab where such testing is done.
Both Full Spectrum and CBD Isolate are Mentioned
The homepage for this product states that they use a process that produces a pure CBD isolate, but they then go on to claim their gummies are made with a full spectrum CBD oil. These two things are mutually exclusive. The information is contradictory and this is a red flag.
Lack of Transparency About Extraction
One of the most important pieces of information for CBD oil aficionados is the extraction technique they use to make their product. Some manufacturers use dirty fossil fuels for the cheapest extraction, leaving the finished product full of chemical residues and contaminants. We don’t really know how this company extracts their CBD, because they do not mention it on their website.
